The tuition for the 2022 Sea Island Writers Retreat is $2,500, including a $200 application deposit. The $2,500 cost includes housing, meals and snacks, workshops, and workshop materials. Participants will also receive a writer’s bag with gifts. If accepted, the $200 tuition deposit will be applied to your tuition.
For those applying to be wait-listed the $200 deposit will be refunded if you are not accepted for the 2022 retreat. If accepted, you will receive an invoice for the $2300 tuition balance, which is due to be payable within 20 days upon acceptance. Acceptances will be made and emailed on a rolling basis. Should the balance of the tuition remain unpaid for the aforementioned acceptance, your seat will be awarded to another qualified applicant and your $200 tuition deposit will be forfeited. Once you pay in full, the workshop seat is reserved for you. All sales are final.
CANCELLATION POLICY: After you have paid for the workshop, should you have to cancel for any reason, we will exercise our best efforts to find a qualified writer to replace you. If we can do so, we will refund your tuition. If we cannot replace you, we will not refund your tuition payment. The later the cancellation date, the more difficult it is for staff to find a qualified participant. We recognize that emergencies do happen and we will do our best to help you. But we cannot guarantee that we will be able to replace you in the event of a cancellation.
COVID GUIDELINES: The Sea Island Writers Retreat will follow CDC guidelines for Chatham County, Georgia, at the time of the retreat.
